ALERT: NOTICE OF RECRUITMENT FRAUD
Recruitment Fraud
Numerous companies, including OddBytes, have been targeted by recruitment fraud. Typically, this fraudulent activity targets job seekers and candidates through (1) online channels like fake websites or fake job postings or (2) deceptive emails from similar but incorrect email domains, posing as legitimate company correspondence.
How to Identify and Avoid Recruitment Fraud
-
Any emails from our company will only come from the domain oddbytes.com. Do not respond to communications, or click on attachments or links, from any other domains, including from the fraudulent domain oddbytescareers.com.
-
We will never ask for upfront payments, sensitive personal information such as social security numbers before a formal offer, or direct you to apply to a job through unofficial channels.
-
Always verify job postings you find on outside websites (such as LinkedIn, Ziprecruiter, or Upwork) on our official careers page at www.oddbytes.com/culture.
What To Do if You Encounter Fraud
-
Do not respond to any emails, share any personal information, send money, or open any attachments from potentially fraudulent communications or job postings.
-
Report any suspicious activity to legal@oddbytes.com.
-
You can report fraudulent activity to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Internet Crime Complaint Center here.
